Friday the 14th. Jan. 2011.

Was an effing crazy day! It was FA after FA. Oh FA means Final Artwork. Which basically, THE Final Artwork of the job. Which then we can close the job and get our monies! Lolx. And when there's FA, it has to go for proof checking which is mostly done by Yeen. And then it will have to go for changes after checking. And then later, print and burn cd. Or instead of burning cd, I have to send the file through email. or if it's effing big, I send it through sendspace.com. So most of the time, it takes at least few hours before can be sent to our client.

AND HOMIGOSH! You know how many FA's I had that day! Plus of course I need to get Quotes from my boss too. Which I still haven't because so many things had to do on the day. Rawr!!

I had like 6 FA's!! Crazy shit. My studio manager, Foo was like, Amanda, you making us go crazy in the studio with all the FAs!!! Lolx.

So that was such a hectic day, not to mention I had to rush all the way to KL to send in two of the FA's which was burned into cd. I managed to get there on time. Lucky me! KL at 5pm. Not such a great time. And thankfully I got home early avoiding the jam and the freakin heavy rain.

Oh, and Pei Wen was back on that day too! But she couldn't see us cause she was gonna go Penang so had to wait like till Sunday. But I just realized we have not met up yet. Hahaha. Probably gonna get her to meet us tonight? Oh well.

So after the news that Pei Wen was back, was having dinner with Stan when I received an sms from Chelle! She was back too! But it wasn't for a holiday but cause her grandmother passed on.

So straight after dinner. Rushed all the way to OUG to see her and her grandmother. It was freaking jam la! Took us like an hour to get there. Crazy shit. It was still super jam at 845pm! -.-"

Oh well. Got there, hugged her and went in to see her grandmother. Shit man. I can't do funeral. Or weddings. Lolx. I'll tear and cry. I stayed on and went in for the prayers. Was tearing the whole time. That didn't help chelle at all. Lolx. I'M SORRY! Stayed on awhile more cause kimmy came. I think I stayed there for like more than 2 hours. So before I left, I went to see her one last time. I cried again. It's just so weird. I was thinking of that time in UK. She was so cute. And I had to talk to her in BM sometimes cause I can't freaking chat to her in Canto. And so she spoke to me in canto and bm. It's just too weird. Rest in Peace Aunty! ><

Sigh~ Talking about funerals and stuff, no mood to blog nemore. Oh well. Will continue later!

Needa holiday!

I need a holiday!! Lolx. Oh well. Shall wait till next year. Chinese New Year! Will be going to Sibu with Stan. Visit his hometown. But I haven't bought any tickets yet. Been stalking airasia for weeks! Haha.

But I soooo want to go somewhere. For a day or two. Weeeeeeee~ Rawr. Somewhere on a beach. I just want to sit at the beach and read a book. Lolx. Yea, I'll play with the water as well. But I just wanna relax with a book, sipping on cool coconut water. Oooooh. Sounds super nice!

But before I can do that, I need to lose weight so I won't look like some fat junk on a lounge chair, gulping down the coconut. Hahahahaha. What a sight! Hahahahha.

So anyway, will be having the annual company dinner tonight! Going to Tenji~ SALMON! Come to mama!!

Ya, and I was just saying I need to lose weight. And I'm going to a japanese buffet. Damnit. Nvm. After tonight. I SHALL NOT EAT SO MUCH.

HAhahaha.

My goal. Or my resolution. TO BE FIT AND SLIM BY CHINESE NEW YEAR. AND STAY FIT FOR THE WHOLE ENTIRE YEAR!

hahahaha. I hope it works. WHICH I KNOW WILL. There. See my "determination". but of cus that will go when I see food. Rawr!

Blue Print~

Yee Hui asked where Yeen and I sat in the office. And so, Yeen decided to do a Blue Print of our office. In a way. We are sitting opposite each other in a way, just that the freaking wall is blocking. Hahahaha.

I was supposed to go out today to meet the HSBC peeps and also the Jusco peeps. But in the end. I didn't have to. Yippee! I like to stay in the office.

Last time in MPH, I ALWAYS want to get out of the office. Now its like, I DON'T want to go out. I mean I don't feel like it anymore. I rather stay in. Lolx. Oh well.

My table is such a mess. And ya. I need to get to back to work. TTYL~

New Job!

Hey all! Guess what? I has a new job! I'm working with Yeen actually. Gyahahahaha. I mean, in the same company la. It's an advertising agency. And I'm an Accounts Exec. Basically handling clients and things like that. Not doing accounting shit all la.

For now I'm loving work because for one. I don't have to wake up sooooo early like last time. But sometimes I need to stay back till late. The latest I stayed was till 8pm. But I don't mind cause its super jam around that time anyway.

Working in Kelana Jaya by the way. So yes. The LDP. Is horrendous after work hours.

The best part of working here is having Yeen here. haha. At least a friend!

So far so good. I mean. Nothing to complain about. YET. Haha.

Nice one wei. Someone has H1N1 in our office. And he was walking pass by us to introduce a new colleague to us. He wasn't even based here. Just so happen nie. -.-"

I hate to do Titles and SCRIPTs!

I'm having a headache at work now. Friggin emcee script. Didn't know it can actually be this hard. I like to work on points and then just go with the flow. I don't like scripts! But I have to anyway. Or I'll get super nervous and have no friggin idea what I just said. Or might say something wrong.

Just finished a simple proposal for a Storytelling competition to be held at the bookstore and actually the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia came to maybe collaborate with us and such. We decided to give a better prize to attract more participants. Also to be held at JB and Penang. Finals will be obviously at the Museum. They are doing this in conjunction with an exhibition they will be having. Its the Jewelled Arts of India in the Age of the Mughals. I saw some pictures of it. It was like from the 15th 16th century?

This exhibition has been travelling around the world like the British Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art (NY), Musee Du Lourve, Paris. And now it is actually in Singapore at the Asian Civisations Museum. So this coming July, it will be in Malaysia.

So they want to have this storytelling competition as one of the activities for this super expensive exhibition.

Trying to make the competition on a bigger scale. So hopefully they will like the proposal. Just gave it to my boss to check on it. Waiting for her approval.

Later, will be going down to Subang Parade to look at the area and see how big it is so we can put the carpet and the mini stage. Then on the way, I have to go to MPH Distributors to get some of my storytelling stuff. Then have to go Mid Valley for a meeting with some magazine publishers that does the Disney magazines.

Tomorrow got a storytelling session to do. And the school holidays are going to start tomorrow. So nice. I wish we have like work holiday too. Lolx!

My first Event!

And so, here I am at work, trying to figure out how to write this freaking emcee script. Maybe you guys can help me out on some words thingy. Alright. The event is my event that I've been planning ever since I got into MPH. Its the birthday bash for the club. The kidz one of cause.

And I made the theme Superhero! Well, cause the mascots are like dressed in superhero like outfits. And so it is.

So now, I want to make my event to seem like its a huge test to become a superhero or something like that. So I'm having activities like Wordsearch, spot the differences, word puzzle, a little Banana Milkshake hand puppet show demo, some painting thing and a game which I called it the Agility Test.

So, my freaking emcee script. I'm trying to think like. For Wordsearch is to test their eyesight? Spot the differences and word puzzle is the same time activity, er..to test their um, intelligence and er memory? Banana's are good for you - contribute to their er strength? Painting thing - their creativity? Lolx. And the Agility test is super straightforward. So ya.

I don't know. HOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What should I put?! Any suggestions? And oh...

My event is next week on a Saturday! How awesome is that? And I'm gonna be the emcee. How so not awesome is that. The event is going to be at.....Subang Parade. Wei Hua, don't come!!! Hahahaha. Doubt you will anyway. Oh well. Quite excited for the party but the sad part is that so far, there's only 12 sign up. I'm expecting 100 kids!!!!!! How to get 100 kids in 7 days?!?!?!?!
